One of the better laps from last years trip. Missed a gear at the bridge and was still hesitant in a lot of places, but was fun chasing the Exige towards end of lap.
Critisism/tips on my driving welcome ( I know I'm by no means a driving god )
I only watched the low-res footage, but it's really good quality. How many laps of the 'ring had you completed by the time you recorded that lap - you passed loads of people! How close to the limit do you feel you were? There were quite a few tyre squeaking moments! Have you ever done any practise on a computer game and if so do you feel this helps?

At that point I'd probably done about 15-18 laps done 23 in total over 2 years (8 in 2007 and a total of 15 in 2008)
A long way of the limit, I left plenty of room on exits was braking too much and on them too long hence most of tyre squeaks on turn in.
Before my first trip I did a lot on Rfactor with a Ferrari GTO because of the crap brakes making you learn what was round the corner more than some cars that stop so quick you could just react to what you saw rather than learning. I tried GT4 etc but I found Rfactor was the best to learn with. It will teach you the basic lay out to a certain extent but it is totally different once you are there for real, was still very usefull though. You can tell from the video I still am unsure of whats round the corner at some points, I found myself second guessing and therefore would just back off rather than take any risk.
