The car goes in on Monday for:
1. Suspension/steering rattle investigation/cure
2. Speaker rattle fix/replacement
3. VDO stereo replacement due to peeling buttons
4. ABS upgrade (if applicable)
5. Timing chain upgrade (if applicable)
6. Paint around rear light cluster.
7. Paint from window wiper and bonnet contact
8. Front light clusters misting - Replacement
9. Gearbox linkage adjustment as 2 & 4 a bit too clunky
Out of that 9 things how many will they cure? I suggest all 9 in time but then I have had no prior experience with the dealer and remain optimistic.

If the garage in question is in bristol...
I'd guess two at the most 
with at least five of the others being 'they all do that'

If you're taking it to your local dealer Coolio, unfortunately Belmont have a crap reputation (in Aberdeen anyway) for customer service and technical aptitude. Unfortunately they have the monopoly as the nearest authorised VX dealer is Autovision in Invershnecky.
I'll be interested to hear how you get on, I'm planning to avoid them like the plague after their attitude problem when I went for a look the other week (I posted a about this). I'd rather get an easyjet flight to Luton and go see Mr Turboman at Crownhill than deal with those poofs
A chap on here, Scott I think, had his VX in there recently so he may be better placed to comment...

10.Alarm interior sensor not working until floor level - No (Don't even know anything about the alarm)
