It is with deep regret that I must inform everyone here that Ian Douglass (known as Cyberman here) passed away on September 13th. Those of us who knew Ian (either in person or via the site) will have known him as being a keen VX220 owner and was always willing to share his experience and knowledge on tuning the car. I'm sure everyone will join me in wishing our best for his family at this difficult time. Should anyone wish to send flowers, his wife, Elizabeth, as requested donations instead to McMillans Nurses.

Often saw Ian buzzing around Henley in his black beasty. Didn't know him personally but know people who did. Sad news indeed.

His last post mentioned that the VX was bought to cheer himself up during his illness. Let's hope it did. Sad news, indeed. Didn't know Ian but my thoughts are with his family.

Very sad news. All the old timers from the forum will have felt quite a friendship with Cyberman as his posts were always worth reading. His last post showed enormous strength of character. How many of us could face what he went through with such fortitude RIP Ian Malcolm

Really gutted, altought I never met him it feels somewhat like loosing someone you know well from all the time he contributed to the site and the development of the VX. His thread about brakes is stil one of the best I've read RIP
