I did a search, - just like to get a definite answer, - I'm presuming that "they" are not making Speedlines anymore? So the only way to buy them is second hand?

If there was enough interest, roughly 15 people that wanted a set then that would satisfy the minimal order amount for them to do a production run was what I was told.

Following on from our chat on Saturday Steve, will Mike Stokes need the detailed specification for them, or will just the fact that we want some more VXR220 Speedlines made up suffice?

I'm planning to give him a call in the next day or so when I get a moment....

If I remember the details ;

Speedline 2110

Size front = 16" 7J Offset 26

Size Rear = 17" 8J Offset 35

PCD 5/110

Bore = 65.1 mm

[edit] You can still get the original fronts , but there is no existing stock of the rears

Just called them :rolleyes: At first glance it sounds promising. They are going to look at making a molding. Now before this thread turns into a me me me, lets wait to hear what is on offer and take it from there. James.

think we need to be carefull that IF they do make us a 15 set run, what happens if Joe Bloggs damages one (say on a kerb) and needs a replacement?

car would look a bit odd with 3 speedlines and 1 other make :P

The speedlines (proper ones weigh more than the TDs) by quite a lot. Infact i think they are roughly the same weight as std. (apart from the Plans Mag versions, which are feather light and cost £2k)

I don't like the look of the mutlispoke (other than the OZs but they really are rocking horse sh*t)

tbh thats the same with OZs, and with current Speedlines

i would just keep the std set in the garage. Also if Mike decides to do them , then he might stock them?

I don't know anything, i just picked up the phone 20min ago :lol: , but it wouldn't really be a worry to me.
