Does anyone else sometimes inadvertantly beep the horn when going round a round about fast ... I must change the position I hold the wheel or if you can't get around on full lock. Get some funny looks, highly embarrassing!

I only ever do it catching an arm full of oppo. Did it at the 'ring twice. Nobody around to hear though :)

Stupid question, how wide a piece of carbon vinyl would I need to wrap the dash plates. Don't wanna go all the way out to the car and measure it....

The width of most rolls will be wide enough, 3M DiNoc etc and is usually sold in 1/2 - 1m lengths.

Side grills and calipers are fairly vibrant, where as the roof is a little darker...Think I may go black!

Just done pads and disks on my new corsa shed. Parts a bit cheaper than for a VX! ...and I bought the Corsa mainly so I have more time to work on the VX :-S

Yet another day of expensive taxis and not able to use the car due to rain this morning. Waiting to get these roof seals sorted is getting tiresome and costs mounting up...

I was out and about sorting a few bits in local area from 7am till half 7 - but then the rain came so decided to ditch the car back in the garage and train it to work. Really gutted as afternoon turned out to be a corker. Just want these seals sorted ASAP!

No idea! Where the new seals lifted, they are no longer sticky, but you can see the dirt and bits of old seal underneath. Hopefully soon as I'm off away in a couple of weeks, I've asked them to either give me money back or another set for nothing (plus credit me back the labour).

car is finished!! 8 weeks after a nasty crashresulting in a catb car we have a fully functional trackcar,big thanks to deltadeano for all the work(top man!) cant wait to see the track now
