Just got home, passed with 2 advisories... front discs slightly scored and both front ball joint gaiters deteriorated. He said they can with until next years service

Oh but he couldnt change the oil filter as the bolt on the housing has been over tightened, fairly big job apparently, but again it can wait until next years service

I've done that a few times, drove 50+miles on refil, and actually ran out! lol...twice! (in 2years)...didn't get more than 32litres in then! :)

36, but the pump holds about 1 litre so you may not squeeze 36 out.

yup, easy fix. This'll be the 2nd time i've done it. I've plugged the hole just now and I'll get one off an astra from the scrappy at the weekend.
