Had a 172 before - it's an unwritten rule of mine never to have the same car twice (i know the new one is quite a lot different though!) Also I made it a rule never to have another french car but may go back on that one, was thinking of a 207Gti as might be more relaxed on motorway with turbo torque, softer suspension etc?

Admire the car but not keen on the shape of them and can't afford to do the 50 miles a day with sub 30mpg!!! My main problem is, I've become extremely fussy :-( Fancied a Civic type R for a while as they're pretty smart inside and have a charismatic engine, but I'd probably get sick at the lack of torque!
