Went in to Wilkinsons at lunch and saw a canvas picture which was too cheap to leave there - £4.00!! Purchased....walked back to VX....oh bum, it's bigger than I thought. I now face a 40 mile drive home with the edge of a picture resting on the top of my knee so that it doesnt rest on the gearstick. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has overestimated the amount of room in the VX??!!!

My first set of carbon diffusers, had them delivered to work and had to wedge them in the passager side  they kept falling on gear stick  Also VSE + my 6'5" brother in the passenger seat :o was the great fun never seen anyone so squashed in my life (apart from the kid we locked in the tuck shop trolley while at School)

My Tullet exhaust system arrived at work in a maaahooosive box. It was the size of the entire passenger compartment. Took all the bits out and split them between the boot and passenger footwell. Iirc snoopstah got a 6' plant from ikea on the passenger seat

I did exactly the same buying a picture - i knew it was big, and took the roof off, but it was too wide to go in. I had the walk of shame back into the store to get them to save it so i could fetch the beemer

When I picked mine up, I bought an 18inch pizza on the way home to treat my friend who helped out... that was an eye opener!

This is my effort after receiving a call from my older brother who had spent the day restoring my mothers shed. He asked if I could pop into Wickes on the way home and buy some perspex or similar, so I immediately guessed that he had smashed the window. So I popped into wickes and all they had were massive sheets that were circa £15 and not wanting to spend this much knowing that the majority of it would be wasted I went on the look out for a cheaper option and came across this board, it was only £4, so everything was fine untill I had to 'fit' it in the car....

I think I'm far too sensible with trying to fit things in my VX. I don't think I've ever been so proud as the time I managed to fit a Microwave in the boot though. It was a perfect fit as I rotated around into the boot (wouldn't fit in any single direction).
