I've done 6 track days on mine and i love them. Im running 205/45/17's front and 225/45/17's rear.
They are ultimatley not quite so soft as an A048 or 888, so if you need that extra tenth of a second get these instead . However for must of us the tyre makes more sense as the breakaway is more progressive and the wear rate to the ammount of grip you get is fantastic. Yes the side walls are stiffer , like a pure trackday tyre, so you do get a bit more wander on bumpy roads but nothing too drastic. That stiffer wall and the grip available give a fantastic feel on hard tight corners, instead of a normal tyre just folding up and slipping on, these buggers just hold on for dear life and give you so much confidence.
The best news is the wear rate means i can do quite a few more into next year and stay safe on a wet road, so makes great economy over a 888 as they last around 5 minutes in comparison (from my experience anyway). Highly recommended.
