A very useful chap called David Kay from Aston Vauxhall has really helped me out with my locking wheel nut situation. I asked on the off chance if he would be willing to supply us parts and offer a discount. He is actively looking to set up relations such as this. He can post parts at cost and can do next day for us as well. I have no interest in this and I am not on the make, just passing on info, invade anyone wonders... So in .org style; what parts could we ask this guy to provide for us? Please copy the list and add your items and I will forward this on. Would be interesting to see how discounted Vaux prices would line up against our established alternatives; namely AutoVaux, E-P and E-S as well as the Lotus dealers on shared parts.

thanks for the replies. his is a vaux dealer, so i can only assume that he gets these at vaux cost price and then discounts the mark up and doesnt make profit on the postage. as apposed to buying from vaux and near cost price and then putting their own mark up on it. i would assume that he would be trying to undercut any other company out there on OEM parts for us. keep the parts request coming, i will be going him a call today.

I assume you mean 1144 pads..... in which case you have next to zero chance of getting them from a vaux main dealer. Plus you can get them bastard cheap from local mintex stocking motorfactors
