N/A tie rods back in stock.

Got my set but the threads are different to the original ones so need new nuts.

Apologies about that Cliffie and that's rather cheeky of them.

Only ones listed on EPC are M10 and M12 although no-one seems to want to give me a price for M12's so I'd hazard a guess that that's the problem you're experiencing?

M10 - 93178113 - £9.60+VAT each (Retail £11.35+VAT each)

After a recent track day the cheapo water pump I put on my Z22se 2.2 about a year ago is making some bearing noise. Posted Image

How much for the real deal with new seals Mr AstonVauxhall? Posted Image

Buy once, buy well. Lesson learnt.

Well, I've still not forgiven you for what you did to my friends, Scott, Alan, Virgil et al, but this time, I'll let you off, but only because I'm nice.

Posted Image thanks for the bump dude.

I'm scampering through my PM's, so to anyone who hasn't had a reply yet, I will get back to you as soon as I can.

On a side note, I'm not in tomorrow (funeral unfortunately) and I'm not in Wednesday (meeting in Kent so an all day job). But other than that, I can't foresee any more holiday for a while.

No Le Mans for me this year (end of a 5 year streak Posted Image), so theoretically for the rest of the year, we're good to go!

Yep number 12 which i understand comes with number 11 so part numbers 9198199 and 9198190

I,ve been told they are special order only and no delivery date would be given, probably due to needing sufficient orders for a production run

If the price is attractive enough maybe others will buy as spares given the nightmare these parts cause

With all the trouble I had/have I would think that most of us, who wanted to replace these parts would also require part 13 as well 9198175

EDIT: to add part number.

Sorry, I think you misunderstood me.

The pitch of the thread is different to standard therefore the tie rods are not a direct OE swap. You should price up and supply new nuts with them on that basis.

That's really odd? Apologies for the confusion.

I genuinely never had any idea that tie rods were modified in any way (EPC shows nothing of the sort). EPC lists one part number for N/A tie rods, and it's never changed/been superseded/modified). And when any part is modified etc, the part number changes.

What's the pitch of the ones I sent you? Vs. the ones that were on your car. Is it drastically out?

And I've no complaints from others who've ordered them but if anyone has fitted some N/A tie rods that they got from me, Cliffie and I would be interested to hear your findings/experiences when fitting.
