Car failed its MOT today for rear fog switch and emissions. I have taken the Rear fog switch apart and managed to get it working (no click before) and i thought that i would compare it to the side lights switch (which i believe is the same as the vectra B air con switch) Unfortunately that switch decided to fail and now rattles :angry2:

Please can you give me a price for the following

1 - side lights switch and Vectra B Air con switch as i have heard it is cheaper.
2 - Rear Fog light switch
3 - Pre Lambda sensor (have the post sensor ready to fit)

Many thanks

Side light switch - 9197562 - £15.46+VAT (Retail £19.80+VAT)
Rear fog light switch - 9197560 - £18.43+VAT (Retail £23.50+VAT)
Pre-lambda sensor (front?)
2.2 - 12569391 - £81+VAT (Retail £100+VAT)
2.0 - 9193148 - £86+VAT (Retail £108+VAT)

I'm struggling with the air con switch, anyone got a part number?

PM FLD - he knows a very good supplier for lambda sensors, they're much cheaper. Posted Image

There is a choice of handbook;

TS15382 - July 01 - £10 no VAT
TS15383 - January 03 - £10 no VAT
TS1528A03 - Owners handbook (2004?) £10 no VAT

VA9900597 - Wallet - £7 no VAT

If you're after an audio manual, they're not VX220 specific, they're radio specific so to complete the set, let me know which radio you have. Posted Image

Hi Aston,

At the start you posted up the price for p/n 55569838 which i believe is an old one?

Could you do a check on p/n 55570337 - timing chain kit
and p/n 55563405 - balance chain kit

Also looking at getting a set of handbooks, dont suppose you know what the difference is between the July 01 and Jan 03 books is? I guess as my n/a is a 52 it will be the July 01 book. Do you have the books/owner manual and wallets in stock? I will definitely take a set of them tho Posted Image

55570337 - timing chain kit - £135+VAT (Retail £174+VAT)
55563405 - balance chain kit - £114+VAT (Retail £131+VAT)

Both of the above are in stock. Posted Image

I've no idea what the difference is between the 01 and 03 handbooks, I'm assuming they added some new options maybe which are included in the 03 one.

I don't stock any of these I'm afraid.

The handbooks are £10 incl.VAT and the wallets are £7 incl.VAT.

What about service record books? Mine came without, but would like one to record all the stuff it has had in my ownership and future records. As a matter of interest, is the wallet the fake leather folder or just a clear plastic wallet?

Service books are £18 (no VAT).

However, if you want to order one, I'll need your name, address, registration number and chassis number as it's an 'official' duplicate service book.

I think the wallet is the 'leather' one, it's the standard one that seemingly all Vauxhall's have.

Ah cheers! That timing chain is a bit cheaper than I've found so far.
I'd guess my best bet is just the '01 book, by you don't stock is that you can get them or not?
Think a service book might be in order as well.

I've probably missed this but can we just pm you with what we need along with contact number or do we need to phone you specifically?

By not stocking them, I mean, I've not got one here but I can get one.

You can PM me with exactly what you'd like, I'll work out the final price and give you a tinkle and take payment. Posted Image

And actually, whilst you are at it, would you also be able to source and send a new security pass card as that was also missing. It was lost at a dealers when it when in for some warranty work at Motorbodies in Luton.

And before anyone says anything.... Yes it is my car, and no it has not been knicked.
