Could i get a price/part number for the 2 black plastic caps that cover the Large nuts in the footwells,

Cheers

I'm drawing a blank on this one. Could you email me a picture?

I suspect it may be these:

Search for:
VX220 Vauxhall WISHBONE INTERIOR MOUNTING BOLT COVERS

On eGay. £3.00 plus £2.50 P&P thumbsup

Nowt to do with me, but spotted them yesterday.

Oh and James (AstonVauxhall) I got your answerphone message when I got out of my classroom this aft. Good news, thanks. thumbsup

I'll have a look now Chris, ta for the info.

And yes, about that message, I lied again Posted Image, apologies.

I forgot and thought you'd only ordered a replacement service book, but you'd also ordered a car pass, which hasn't arrived yet. Sorry about the false hope, I meant to give you a tinkle before I left today.

To make up for it, I can get the service book out to you now, and then get the car pass out to you when it arrives if you want, no extra postage charges. Posted Image

Of you could that would be great, but certainly not necessary. Also would you be able to sort me out the document wallet for them and stick it on my card? If you haven't got my details still, give me a shout tomorrow aft as I am teaching in the morning. thumbsup

I don't keep customers details, only contact information. I'll get the duplicate service book en route tomorrow, and give me a tinkle whenever you're free, I'll take the extra money, and I'll add the wallet to my list of things. Posted Image

I ordered a wallet and it was here within 2 days so it'll be here before your car pass arrives. If you're desperate for any info on the car pass, I can give you that now, it's just I haven't got the little card itself (they fax through the blurb in case you're in deep schtuck with anything and need a radio code asap)

I'll tackle the interior bolt covers in the morning, struggling with EPC and losing my patience (it's been a busy one).

I'm not having a great deal of luck with these little covers.

I think it might be -

9197750 - plug, front floor panel, 10.3mm

They're 34p+VAT each.

Does that sound about right?

Oh and they were in 'body shells and panels' then ' underbody'. Cheers EPC Posted Image

I can order the parts, no problem. I'll stick it on a 'super get items here now order'.

I quote the lady "You can give me a ring in a few weeks and see what the situation is, hopefully we'll have some news".

I think if Vauxhall had no intention of being able to supply them, they'd have an 'issue with supplier' and then just say no longer serviced, live with it.

I think they are trying to sort it, it just takes a while.

Hi, any good news yet on this?

Thanks thumbsup

Will pay you as soon as you know a delivery date

just to confirm it is parts 9198199 and 9198190

No worries, parts on order chap Posted Image

Give me a weekly PM chasing me and I'll chase them too.

Bit of an update. Anticipated delivery date 00/00/0000. Not ideal.

I gave them a ring, and got told supplier issue again. I then asked if they were trying to sort it out or if they'd just turn around and say NLS. Chap said that it doesn't look like they'd drop the part and that they're sorting it out now.

So fingers crossed, they'll get it sorted.

No problem.

1. Duplicate service book - £18 (no VAT)

2. Fuel pump and filter (do you know what sort of job this is to do?)
Pump - 9198046 - £221+VAT (No retail price listed)
Filter - 9198314 - £18+VAT (Retail £22.35+VAT)

I have no idea how easy the job is to complete. But by looking at the location of the fuel pump, it's a clam off job.

3. 2x Front Turbo splitters
Front splitters are £21+VAT per corner, so multiply by 4.

4. Theres an upside down U above the drivers headrest - i need one of those
I think I know the bit, but I'm a little unsure. We can sort out pictures later etc and make sure it's correct.

5. Is there such thing as a book pack?
Yes, ish. You can buy a wallet, and a handbook, and a service book, and a car pass. In total, that's really the book pack.

6. Is there a fire extinguisher to fit under the front bonnet?
Not as far as I know, although you can get a reasonably cheap firebeater one from Halfords which I think comes with a nice little bracket for mounting.
