Today I spent the day at plans getting my car set up and a few other bits and pieces done. Have to say, despite being there from 9 until 6 I had a great day. Top work from the guys there and very helpful. Not to mention they seemed no at all annoyed at my inability to shut up! Plenty of tea/coffee/cakes. All in all a really good day and can't recommend them enough. Having been to both plans and back on track I know which one will become my local chinky chinky I couldn't imagine sitting around all day at a normal garage and actually enjoying it!

they bribed you with cakes to give a good review, lol

big bill? 8 hours to do a few bits and pieces. That was one of the things that pissed me off there, they would have my car for two weeks, yet still on the day I had booked to collect it, it would still be being finished off and rush job (although I don't think they know the meaning of the word).

their availability is governed by the race/track season. I wanted my Miltek done and they told me that the next available slot was 2 months away because of their track commitments. Not been the same since John left anyway.

NOT that John, can't remember his surname, it was some years ago that he left Graham Horton with whom he was a partner at Plans.

Think i will be having a bit of work done with john and sean when i get back in 6 months. I'm sure Bicknells exige is kicking out around 500 bhp. Cant remember the exact figure as we were all a tad drunk at autosport

To be fair the full geo and shakedown was meant to take 4 hours, but then I had to get some other stuff done (which I had been planning to do, but it was kind of like, while you are ther sort of thing and the lower ball joint on one side was foobed! To be fair it was all pretty relaxed and I didn't mind being down there. I was in no rush which I stipulated in the morning. To be fair on the timing thing, at this time of year a lot of the people who store cars with them are wanting the prepared for the summer season, so they are always busy. I phoned them and got a slot at about a weeks notice, but then after that they are booked up until the 4th i think. They do run 2 or 3 Ginettas to be fair so they are busy with them a lot of the time. I don't mind waiting around there either as they are a top bunch of lads! chinky chinky

It's in again :ninja: This time the VXR. Graham allowed me to drop it at his place on Thursday evening (about 9pm), ran me down to the station, talked me over their plans (no pun intended) for the car while it was in and is keeping me updated regularly on developments via e-mail/phone etc. Once again proving their customer service is ace thumbsup Never had any issue with their workmanship either :D
