Just coming up to 50K miles on my second set replaced when I got the car as making noise, so far so good running stage 2.

Just ordered new side engine mounts and a couple of powerflex inserts for the front and rear. I think this will be my vx's 3rd engine mount change in 25k miles I knackered this set when i had to do a major emergency stop, the bloke in front was in a brand new Audi A4 auto and was on a test drive, he wasnt used to automatics and coming off of the A2 at 70mph put his left foot on the brake thinking it was the clutch!!! What made me laugh was that the bloke on test drive was a driving instructor!!!!!

Hi all Well I must have the record then..... my original mounts are being changed as we speak at........103k!! Ok I haven't driven it hard for a while!! Maybe never by the looks of that... aux belt and tensioner also changed and ABOUT to have the timing chain done before it goes pop. Andy
