I would guess the oil pump might be causing all these problems

I'm more focussed on trying to get a car that's drivable for Le Mans now. I'm going to be gutted if I end up not being able to do the Bugatti!

However, with round drops etc, I'm still second overall and only two points off the lead...... Which makes my decision making harder on what to do.... We'll see

I am really sorry to hear of your woes Jimmy... Was talking to Cliffie on his way up to Cadwell on Saturday and I know hopes were up for you yesterday.

I know I am not in your position, but I would be only making the decision to pull out of this season if I thought trying to push for the championship was going to do more damage / be too costly and try and make a saving now to reattack the season next year. It would just be the 'risk' factor of pushing the car too hard when it isn't right and creating a bigger repair bill later.

I really do hope that you finally hit a better run of luck soon.

Yesterday was not an easy one to swallow, the whole team is gutted by what has happened. Still, one point off the lead means there is all to fight for in the last two rounds and all I can say to you Jimmy is that you can count on my support to do whatever it takes to get this season across the line.

Sadly that is not possible as the championship regulations will only allow a change of car for one round only and we have played that card at Brands Hatch.

Would need a change of clams, doors etc, just need to deal with the sills as they would still be Calypso Pink.

I think the real point is Jimmy wants to do this in his car and I fully support him in that.

I agree, the championship is still there to be won but Jimmy has much to consider and balance to be able to continue.

With that much positiveness and dedication we can get to the end of the season.
