Although my car recorded the lowest top speed it wasn't too behind Umar's RX7
In contrast Gavin Renshaw in Pro class hit 141mph
and before anybody makes the crack; yes I'm looking for someone to sort the garden

Umar HAS to come first to stay in contention. Second place will not be enough to catch me. Ronnie beat Umar last season so there’s a chance he could do the same this year but the margin was so slim I cannot rely on this. I have to be in the mix myself!!
Snetterton 2010
Now looking at the speed trap figures Ronnie is actually a little quicker than Umar which does surprise me! What supriese me more is that they are only reaching around the 115mph mark.
Snetterton 2010
Now going from the Anglesey speed traps I’m only 2-3mph down on Umar at this sort of speed
Anglesey 2011
So the worry that I will get blown away on the straights is far less now in my eyes.
I’ve been faster than Umar at every circuit this season so I’ve little doubt now that Snet shouldn’t be the same.
With this in mind from Umar’s perspective: - He’s been slower than me at each meeting, he’s 12 points down and he has to take first place ahead of the guy who beat him last year and myself.
He’s got to be feeling the pressure far more than me.

That's why I wondered where the speed trap was. It's certainly not anywhere near the end of the Bentley straight or before Riches, going on those speeds.very suprised they were only gettinh 115mph.

Good to know where those traps were as it seems to tie in nicely with the default traps in Circuit tools. Looking back at my data for the Snett visit earlier in the year, on the 300 circuit (so not sure how directly comparable the numbers will be) I was crossing the finish line at 119/120mph most of the day and maxed out at 125mph on the intermediate trap. Never managed to get past 125mph once that day, though I reckon with my improved brakes I could probably leave it a second or two later to brake at the end of the Revett/Bentley straight now.
I'm not sure if this is any help to you Jimmy. It's a link to a pdf file taken from Harry's Lap timer from my session at my recent Snett 300 day. I cant comment if it's accurate or not as I've not spent any time setting it up on the day of the track day or now. It does show a top speed of 133? mph, not sure where which straight that was even down. It produces lots of different graphs & pretty overlays...
cheers
Max
