Congratulations JJJ and a fantastic job by the crew. If I get chance I will pop along to one of the races to show my face and add to the support crowd. Just wish I had the cash to splash, to give this sort of thing a go. Unfortunately I don't and doubt I will at any point, but getting to a track day is starting to look more likely (if Mel manages to get a teaching job sorted when she comes back home from Uni). Nice to see that even on a moderate budget that the VX can show a good pace in the face of those with stupendous financial backing / budgets.

I'm thinking knockhill we get a White board with it all setup so you just have to write in the boxes such as tyre pressurers, oil level checked, fuel L, water, belt, engine bay etc so it all either tick or numbers etc. This would make it loads easier and so everyone can see what has and hasn't been done.

Also have a tv for live timing and have all the instruments such as tyre pressure gauge, bonnet/bootlid stands at the ready etc and no sh** hanging around.

Bit more organisation and will be hired by ferrari soon enough!

That might be rather useful for the future too.

If you record it after the event and keep a file on it, you can use the tyre pressures/suspension settings for future tracks as a starting point etc. And when you return to Oulton Park next year, you know exactly where to start from (if tyres and suspension is the same....) You'd also be able to see how she runs at certain temperatures/conditions, e.g. drinks oil on a hot day etc so you can anticipate what the car's doing before she spits her dummy out.

But a definite to you guys.
