Mark was runing a uprated pump
Deff a fuel problem not helped by low fuel and no swirl pot thinking about it now
Hope it's just an injector and we can get the rest sorted for next time

Didn't you and Joe come up with an inexpensive swirl pot solution..? Now's the time to get it as it's in a garage now getting some work and they can fit it

could this be part of the problem

Clicky

If so then perhaps modifying the intake to the pump would help.

I was running an uprated pump BUT I think it was faulty, it was very noisy when priming and noisy when running. I still had the misfire at high revs after I changed the plug and injector. I then changed the pump and it seems to be ok.

thats interesting as mine is noisey during running, but i put that down to no cover on the hatch, or it could be my chargecooler pump resting on something.. It doesnt dobit all the time, just more often than not. here is a flyby vid

Yeah he is...

Well, at least that's easily replaceable if a valve has broken and done any damage to the crown. Would be a pisser if it was a Wiseco or whatever and you couldn't get a single replacement either quickly, or at a sensible price. If J&L haven't got 20 standard pistons lying around between them, I think I've still got some in the garage.

I've got a set of 4 in the boot still you can have, only 50k on them :D

Got a set of Eagle Rods still for sale, it'd be rude not to while you're doing the pistons :)
