From what I was told its just a case of making sure the plugs are moved tio the right positions from VXT to 2.2. No big deal so no guide needed really.

easiest option is to buy a full vxT engine loom and modify that

At times I felt like that, however it's just one of the problems with doing something completely new.

Can't believe all this time, effort and money I have spent was due to a bad setup (lug position) on the Comp cams I had installed when the harrop when on originally. Wonder if the oem ecu would have been able to cope? at least the z20let will have better mapping capability.

Nick, For the cost of swapping to that ECU (£300 for me all in) it's a no brainer, even if it could be mapped on the z22se ECU, the z20LET will do it better. Imagine running into one of the problems we had on the z22se ECU such as getting the 2.4 manifold to map properly. The time and effort that took to resolve was enormous, that just wouldn't be an issue with the z20LET one.

Bit of an update they had it running on the dyno but they have a problem with the throttle still shutting itself off in the middle of the run at about 75%. He is investigating now and feels it's something with the software from the Turbo map and the modifications to run the s/c setup

Too bad for you that this is still not running right... :glare: Did they give a time estimation on a possible fix for this?

They still can't get above 80% without the throttle slamming shut, anyone got any ideas?
