Was probably mine with the vibrating bracket. As Neil said the tube had corroded to the bolt so I couldnt get it tight enough to hold the bracket. The bracket had also deformed slightly around the bolt hole making fine adjustment tricky but I filed it flat and its ok, shouldn't be a problem if yours in new though. The split washer also corroded away on one of the bolts allowing the bracket to move slightly. Sounds like a horror story but not had any problems since the corroded tube was replaced. My car has also been to see Vocky since the tube was replaced so Im sure he would have sorted any other problems with the original install if there were any chinky chinky

Plate and new TB fit ok, just put the old one back on as I will run the engine to make certain it's ok before I start the loom. Since the thing hasn't been run for some months I was going to turn it over on the battery with the coil pack disconnected to get some oil round it first. The one possible problem I have is the Charge cooler pump is to wired and the Charge system is empty of fluid, will the pump be ok to run for a while without water or should I disconnect(cut) the wires

Pull the fuse for the charge cooler pump? Not sure where it might be on your car but it's a regular inline blade fuse on the loom underneath the normal header tank on mine.

Sorry Nick, maybe it was the fact that the site has been down. ;) Great news it at least runs with the standard ECU. B) I'm free Thursday onwards but am certainly not tackling the cams. That's way over my head, I'm afraid. Will happily man the kettle for you though. :D

Really bad new I spotted one of the manifold bolts has sheared again  something else to do and running out of time now. all the old loom has been removed need to get the new one in place asap
