Thanks Nick.If you change the ecu you either need the keys(chips) and barrel unit that came with the ecu or do as Muncher did and pay £25 for the code from Vauxhall. the other things that were on the ecu like a/c traction(if there) are just written out.

you can erase the immo code out of the flash dump then it will also start without the immo on the K Line and you can switch the ecus as much as you like.
the actual immo is a 27c256 inside

I go looking in dark furtive places to find such information. Lets just say the whole industry isn't 100% legit.
