Thanks ;-) don't the zzp cams fit in the standard saab head? I thought they were designed for the LSJ=B207 Head?

I will be interested to see what difference the ZZP cams make, I already have a saab head on mine with the comp cams blower cams.

We're all waiting on Joe-OEM...
Did you compare the specs between ZZP st2 and the Comp SC cams?

Stock LSJ is 196.5/191.7 duration @ 1mm(.039") valve lift and 10.04mm/10.04mm total valve lift. LSA is 107.5

ZZP S2 is 216/218 @ 1mm and 10.78mm/10.69mm lift, 111 LSA

Comp 2.2 SC cams:
  • Intake Duration at 050 inch Lift: 210 (= 1.27mm lift)
  • Exhaust Duration at 050 inch Lift: 218
  • Advertised Intake Duration: 252
  • Advertised Exhaust Duration: 262
  • Intake Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.423 in. (10.74mm)
  • Exhaust Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.436 in. (11.07mm)
  • Lobe Separation (degrees): 113 LSA
Looks like the Comp 2.2 SC cams are even more aggressive than the ZZP stage 2's, but the different duration lift makes it harder to compare directly.

Are all you boys upgrading the valves and springs in the head? Something like superteck, or is it not worth it.

I love the m62 screaming on track. Drive it normal and you hardly hear it.

I'll raise this again

I am now going ODB software the ecu is going to him. I am sending a new spare ecu and he will transfer the security information form my old ecu onto the new one. That way I will have the c`ms mapped ecu as a backup.

I have 630cc injectors, need to get some spacers  sorted. FLD gave me an oem FPR to replace the CMS modified unit.

3 and 2.5 bar TMAP sensors available to me.

I have ordered a WI kit to try to keep the temps down. I will try mapping with a 2.7" pulley.

Interesting.... So you could literally unplug one ecu and plug the other one in and everything works? thumbsup

I have a z22se ported head with Saab turbo (sodium filled) valves due to the heat and double valve springs could rev till 8000+ but won't will set at say 7500 depends on what psi I get and how much heat is generated.

Yea I can keep the old cms ecu as a backup just in case.

Just wondering if you know where these spacers can be bought from or what do they look like?
