I take it you dont have a Tullet exhaust. Can Jim build one for me and to fit my tullet exhaust?

I thought the wideband goes into the lambda sensor hole?

Wideband is an extra sensor, not a replacement.

Right got you now. So would you normally drill a hole in the exhaust to fit one?

Well a good day today, I got the gear change cables changed, they went on ok, only problem is the old ones are in really good condition, nice and smooth operation still, so I have a spare set should i need them again.

Relocated the boot relays to the firewall by the ecu and used the cover which was in the boot to protect them.

Extending the wires from the temp sensor and doing a rewire for the TMAP sensor. A or B?

Hope to refit the intake manifold all being well tomorrow with the S/C.

also got to dig my wideband out and see to to wire it up along with trying to find a plug to wire it into the egr position

Intake back on (with the WI nozzle in place)  plus the s/c also went back I put the 3 bar TMAP on save me having to remove the s/c and change the 2.5 bar unit.

Harrop snagged my relay box on the firewall I made, so will have to mod that.

I need to do the wideband mod but couldn't find the egr plug, I remembered when Vocky built the loom he put a cheater in there somewhere.. Spend some time finding it, just got to check which wire I should use.

spoke to Jim my new CAT should be here early next week.

Put the wires under the dash for the Heater, I can sort that out later.

I want! Is that the standard downpipe section he makes for the SC cars? Is the join off of it so you can fit a decat silencer Nick, or so you can fit a cat easier? Also do you think the cat failing was down to the overfueling of the CS map? What I'm hoping is the dutch software runs the engine how it should of always been which in turn keeps the life of the exhaust for longer than 2 months. ;)

That down pipe goes with Jims 4-1 manifold it was originally in one piece but to make life easier in future( decat if I want) it as been cut in two also notice the extra lambda hole for the wideband

FLD I don't think 49 (forty nine) power runs would have done it any good  , only one of them dumping fuel down the exhaust would have killed it, Jim said he had been worried about that.

The Dutch software seems to go about it's business slightly differently in that it looks that it may run it slightly leaner at first rather than richer to start with.

Don't you have a flexi-joint in there? Or does the slipper 4-1 provide enough movement?

Have hear of Lambda problems caused by air leaking into a slip joint, but I assume yours is well sealed-up.

When is your ecu back?

The ecu is back on the car I THINK I am about ready to start the car for the first time.

Tripple checking everything no dash so can't drive it yet as the stack is out. I will connect the stack first though

You will need EML light when you start mapping

What do you mean this National might not be ready for the next at this rate.......

Tomorrow should tell, be up early to start putting stuff back together. one thing which is a pain is the fact the dash and binnacle are away being recovered and won't be ready till Friday. I might be mapping with the stack in place and nothing else there.

O must put the seat back in............
