:groupjump:

She is running,  :D  really pleased.

I Spoke will Chill for advice before turning it on, Techieboy (many Thanks to both of you) was good enough to come over as tech adviser in case nothing happened, and nothing happened initially till I plugged the fuel pump back in. Just realised as I write this only hope I haven't stuffed the CC pump running without water :o ops.

Did some initial logging to make certain it works, she seems to idle smother on the 630cc injectors.

I will now clean some of the wiring harness up, rebuild the inside and get ready for the clam going back on tomorrow. The got to fill her up and start mapping

Was a great sight/sound when it all started up and we had communication with the new ECU. In fact, it was so good, I celebrated with a bacon and sausage bap on the way home. My waistline thanks you.

awesome :)

It would be great to hear what your find for a more subjective point of view between the CMS and the OBD maps you will create.

If you are not running anything through the EGR valve at the moment, still put some values in, otherwise it corrups the learning map you make (bug in the software that is getting fixed).

Excellent news. The car will probable idle better due improved idle map and higher idle rpm.

Well a really productive day, Techieboy was kind enough to come over this morning to help crack on with it Imnotworthy . We rebuilt the interior, that was fun mainly because that was my storage area for parts when I had the car stripped. Forgot how to rewire the extra gauges I have, little job on the internet later. Wired in the wideband sensor in, Water injection was left till later.

Apart from the odd extra pipework left (fuel canister) over it's nearly finished. MMG diffuser to go on, most things are now done, almost ready for next weekend.

Did an initial run to see how the ecu self learns, thanks to Chill being on the end of a phone to run use through it. Nice to see it doing its thing rather than just reading about it.

My pleasure. Somebody has to maintain the Bedford Europa Blue SC society presence at the National, this year, and it's not going to be me. Just glad it all went back together as well as it did, though there was an alarmingly large number of left over nuts/bolts/screws at the end.

Will look forward to seeing what Monday's learning session brings. thumbsup
