I am charging the laptop at the moment, when complete I will take it the ipad so I can post here and will try a few things?

is it worth doing the ignition and processing AFR data into the ecu then try another run?

why knock and lean???

thats why we need reference, from base map,

lean could be because of not having all boxes filled or fuel starvation,

knock normally comes from ignition.

i would go to base map first do a power measurement and a short logging session then we have some references,

Nick did you "process measurement"  the learn session to auto fill the boxes and smooth the fueling??

nick i would go back to base map,

power measurement and power run,

then we can start modifying fueling and ignition

Something seems strange here why dose the trace only start at 5000rpm? Is the software definately running correctly with the apple pc? The wide band shows it is lean the whole time though not badly. You have too much KR this could be lack of fuel or ignition.

Chill I think you might have a busy weekend. Nick have you played with the wide band settings so it gives 14.7:1 at a steady speed? Your fuel learn data looked fine if applied correctly this should of had little effect on your WOT fuelling. A wick look at base and fuel learn 1 maps should confirm this.

i really think we should be starting from base map, to get good references to see if the wideband has good calibration and reference points.

the learn session nick was using was limit to a very small amount of data

and no data at higher pressure,

and if nick managed to process the measurement to autofill im not convinced there was enough data to do it,

comments martin would be good.

we are trying to run before we can crawl

The data he had off boost looked fine to me he can apply this to the base map. When you compare the base and upgraded map there should be minimal change to the fuelling in the boosted area of the map. I think Nick could also map some lower boost levels using the std fuel learn but not WOT or heavy loading. This will tell us if the boosted area look too lean as the software will start adding fuel. I was told by Peter not to mess with ignition until the fuelling was correct. But if KR remains high some ignition should be pulled then slowly added back later. If you get 6-7 KR you don't need to remove that much ignition 2-3 degrees may be enough. It would be nice to see some clean logs and a power run. I don't understand why the data seems so mixed up a the minute. Don't worry Nick we will get the car sorted. It is a shame you are so far from me and Chris. I would send all your data to Peter aswell.

Just finished the bits on the car, I also just checked my email I sent this mornings logs to Peter he has had a look and will do me a new adjusted map later today. He told me not to wot till I have received it from him. Worse case is I will drive to Pembrey in learn mode and get lots of data.

Not certain maybe the amount of boost is causing an issue?
