Might be worth a plug change Nick if not been changed for a while. Look at the plug condition and coloration, as it may help identify any issues!

is there a way to check the fuel pressure at high rpm's? I really want to see if the pump is loosing pressure or assuming it is constant  with no losse could it be a software issue

If you have a schraeder pressure release valve on the fuel rail, you can buy a cheap mechanical gauge and long pipe from eBay and keep it in the cabin as you drive.

Measure FP on valve (or T-piece in feed hose) and measure return flow (volume/time) from the rail outlet tube @ atmo pressure. Then measure flow (and FP) @ max boost by putting pressure on the regulator (bicycle pump or so)

I did a learn session Peter asked to see it so I emailed it to him.

Your right I am having a couple of days off as really fed up at present, the thought yet again of dropping the undertrays, wheel arch liners,

removing the starter (a pain of a job) just to check the knock sensor, then I need to move the 044 pump from it's upright position to horizontal, hope that may help.

Do another run to see if that makes a difference, if not check fuel pressure, change both pumps, find why the secondary lambda is still not working.

o and work over the weekend.

I would just do a FP check with the existing system before you start changing things...

also when doing anything like writing to the ECU make sure your car battery is fully charged and preferably laptop is mains powered

The other issue I found was having the ignition on for hours without running the engine , was that the coil pack killed itself.
