ok so far so good, I tightened the exhaust back box up as one side was loose, both bolts were hand tight, one the rear I had to replace the nut, nice job, not.. Hope that was the reason for some knock being recorded, wouldn't have helped with 2 polly mounts either.
I managed to check the knock sensor without removing the starter motor, it's tail is now at 9.00 o'clock, only problem my torque wrench won't go down to 23nm.. any suggestions?
I will do a run as it is and try to check the fuel pressure at the same time.

one step back, battery light on, 11.5v on scangauge looks like the alternator may have packed up, I was checking the fuel pressure 3.6 bar at idle, notices a slight drop when gently revving the engine need to run it properly at high power though.
need to sort the non charging first

you have a boost referenced fuel system? Standard NA regulator should be 3.8 bar with engine not running/vac tube disconnected from regulator, but about 0.7 lower @ idle.
Pressure + injector settings must be correcty for OBD to run well...

Nick As Vocky has said in the other thread, bet you have disturbed some if the alternator wiring. Things are tight as std even worse with the Harrop. I will be interested if the change in knock sensor position improves KR as mine produces more KR than expected at high rpm which has meant I have had to reduce ignition advance in the base map to remove it.
Did you check your IAT on full chat? I've seen almost 90*C on heavy use...

90 degrees is quite mental, goodness knows how much power you lose with the ignition retardation - do you know Exmanta ?
