Just some thoughts. Seems you've discounted Brunters so some other possibles. I did an MSE academy day at Upper Heyford years ago, no idea if the airfield track is still available. We did that training day at Alconbury with Ben - although I don't recall it being that smooth. Can Plans get you out at Dunsfold? chinky chinky

I had thought about Alconbury I would need to find out how it has deteriorated over time.

PS  chinky chinky sounds like a good idea

Drop Ben an email and see if he still uses it and to let you know what it's like - I guess these contact details are current:

you dont need a perfect surface, and imho a runway isnt long enough for some of the load sites.

Odds on it would be cheaper to simply get on a rolling road (and do the cal work yourself with the operator simply doing what you ask)

If hes up for it, Try Pete Baldwin at Wilshers Garage in Orwell. Hes old skool, you wont get curves as the RR is dial gauges :) but he can simply do what you want

I posted on the checking fuel pressure thread about the fuel pressure here are the latest log, ps forget what I said about IAT's after a while they just go up!!

I upgraded to the latest version and put in 4.2 as static FP

Ouch. The last 8 years worth of ignorance of IAT's on the usual SC conversion has been bliss.

What you really need is a smaller volume TVS supercharger (and maybe a 14" pulley). It's just trying to pump too much air into too small a space and as a result compressing the air in the inlet manifold and creating heat.

so that will be the tvs 2300 then

or as we know a NEW larger intake manifold

No, you need something more like a TVS-900. The 1320 is already shifting too much air, the 2300 would be trying to fire another litre of air in on top of what you've already got.

yea but the 2300 you could use a smaller pulley so reduce the compression and heat (due compression)

Starting to look better now nick but the inlet temps are high I would wait and see what peter says and then Think about cooling iat with your water injection But the air compression is that high I doubt it will do much good

There you go. An 18" pulley (I've got an alloy wheel here that you can use) on the end of the 2300 should drop the boost a bit and you'll be sorted,

Time to pull the laminova's out of the manifold altogether and see what effect that has? The increase in volume of the inlet manifold and reduction in compression as a result of that larger volume might outweigh the benefit of the laminovas.

It's interesting how it's only after 100 (speeds ) That the iat go really high

You've got the ability to do it, monitor it and map for it now, if you wanted to. If nothing else, it would be interesting to see what effect the laminova's do have at your level of power. Maybe just taking two out of the equation would show some changes, one way or the other.
