As a test nick set it up for 90ms And when cruising it should be reading 14.7

You will have to log it As you don't have a live dial

Found this http://www.ecotrons....9_Tech_Info.pdf

Not sure that matters, the voltages output for any given AFR and the response times are a function of the particular controller you use. Maybe PLX can tell you what the response time is (delay between what it reads and what it outputs, I assume) but I'd start at 100ms. If the logging is fast enough, you should be able to fine tune it even without anything from PLX.

Thanks Guys I should have got a gauge..

A gauge wouldn't solve anything and would just give you a chav fest inside the cabin. You've got the important piece of info, the controller output voltage to AFR mapping. So you'll know how the engine is fuelling at any given moment, which is what you want to know. You might just have a delay of a few thousandths of a second between what the lambda sensor reads and the controller sends and what number the engine ECU receives. You'd still have that delay with a nasty gauge and unless the delay was measured in whole seconds, you'd likely never be able to see any lag anyway.

There's also a delay coming from you sensor position in the exhaust pipe.

Just fit the thing and start tuning.

I don't don't get that. I had the original problem which was solved by the updating to the latest software release. I am running a 3.0 Bar map sensor for info did you use a gasket, I made one up when I thought my problem might have been air leaking

Have you tried it without gasket since the software update ?
