I just removed the s/c to get to the tmap, found the centre bolt holding the manifold on has sheared..... These were upgrades to m8 from m6 some time ago. Not very happy. So manifold has to come off just hope I can get the bolt out.

Thanks just in case. Interesting the three to m8 bolts all sheared, one I got out as it had plenty of thread , two I need to drill and hopefully use an extractor tool. The bolts were 8.8 strength, thought that would have been ok. The other thing is they were corroded Better check which bolts other people use

Drill a hole and hammer a torx bit in. Or drill the sides  thin enough to fold it in on itself. Or drill bigger and tap and helicoil. Or weld a nut on what's left.

Well that was not fun, can I give total thanks to Mr Vocky, he was kind enough to come around yesterday and remove the head, ended up at a local cylinder head place to have the bolts machined out. They very kind enough to do it on the day, and today Mr Vocky replaced the head and timed the Cams in, wow big job, got to be easier to do it on a bench would not have wanted to try that with the clam on. The s/c manifold is back on just got to rebuild the car now.. Thank you again..... Mr Vocky....

Well I'm back Doing a few bits, changing the CC pump for one, and driving it is another. Having trouble getting the time to map it so will ask Matt Bentley and see if he can do it for me on a RR Am going to relocate the pump from the in front of offside rear wheel well to the near side below where the air intake is, is going to be horrizontal but don't think it makes a difference.

Just finished the cc pump, much quieter and much better flow. About to do the obd tuners, have upgraded to the latest version. Those Harrop owners on a z22se head and 680, 2.8 if possiblei any change of a look at your maps if you don't mind, I would like to get loads of info together to sort out the best map possible.
