Best thing to do. Drive the Beemer for a few years and contribute to global warming thus making winters shorter and warmer. I like your thinkingIve made my mind up and im going for the bmw purely on the fact i dont think im hardcore enough to live with the vx through our long winters.maybe in a few years when i have the money and can afford two cars id definatley get a vx for the summer and weekend fun

Think you may be right.Not sure its being hardcore,i think you have to be a bit mad to drive the vx all the time.My brother has a z4 and thinks i am mad but i love it.You will enjoy it and if your not sure about the vx you made the right choice.Ive made my mind up and im going for the bmw purely on the fact i dont think im hardcore enough to live with the vx through our long winters.maybe in a few years when i have the money and can afford two cars id definatley get a vx for the summer and weekend fun

Personally, I wouldn't look twice (or even once!) at a BMW.
I owned one once. I was married once as well. Both were equally horrific experiences.

It's funny because I got exactly the same response on the Z4 forum when I told them I'd had a Vauxhall for nearly 7 years and thought it was possibly the best car I'd ever owned!
I've never cared too much about what badge a car wears to be honest, for me it's all about having something that stirs your emotions which is different for everyone I suppose.

having owned an VX NA and a VXR also 3 BM's they are all great cars they just do different things but both do them very well
