[ST25]

Hi All

I am looking at buying my first VX220 and currently considering a blue one Registration VO52 URK. I was hoping to see if anyone out there has some backgound information on it as there is a nagging concern that it may have been in an accident at some time, but nothing is reported.

Appreciate any assistance or comments the VX220 community can offer.

The ad has already been removed (was in Autotrader) Hopefully that's a good sign as I put a deposit on it yesterday. Car drives really well, but the rubber seal running along the top of the nearside door has lifted slightly in one small area and the paint on top of the nearside sill just looked shinier than the drivers side. That's all it was. The garage has a good reputation so I'm probably reading too much in to it.

I went for it and am now the very proud owner of a blue VX220. The garage had to sort an EML issue before I picked it up, but otherwise there are no real shocks. I gave her an initial going over yesterday and found a couple of cracked trim items I didn't notice before, but I plan to keep her for a while so I look forward to reviewing the forums for tips and meeting like minded owners in the area. Besides, as I'm sure you all know, you forget the minor niggles as soon as you press that starter button.

Nice to meet you all too. There are some seriously nice motors in our area. It's a shame me and Charlotte had to leave early, but will try to plan it better next time. I will be seeking advice soon as one of my front fogs is out - all part of the VX220 ownership experience I guess. Matthew
