It is with the utmost regret I am listing my dream car for sale, unfortunately big bad property has forced me in to it.
It is a 2001 Calypso Red car in absolutely fantastic condition. I went to see almost a dozen before finding the perfect base car. 34,000 genuine miles.
Full service history.

Detailed build log here as it would be far too long for a sale ad
http://vx220sc.blogs...703151014817785

Short summary-

Eaton M62 supercharger, dual pass chargecooler and front mounted pre rad.
Miltek exhaust system with 200 cell sport cat- no EML and passes mot emissions.
256bhp and 220 lb/foot torque graph can be seen on the blog.
New drilled and grooved discs with Pagid RS14 pads, literally 200 miles old.
New tyres all round literally 1000m ago.
HPI clear but of course you are welcome to check
No clam bubbles anywhere, paint is in fantastic condition, no where near as many stone chips as the others I have seen. Heater box has been insulated and sealed and works much better than standard.
MOT until late May but I will check exact date.

I am situated in Belfast Northern Ireland but work in Derry. This means I can meet you at any of the 3 Northern Irish airports which are served very cheaply by ryanair/ easyjet eg £25 one way. I could alternatively meet any prospective buyer at Belfast docks or with a bit of organisation Dublin airport or dock.

This car needs absolutely nothing and must be one of the cleanest examples about let alone supercharged.

Asking price £11995 which is cheaper than any supercharged VX I have ever seen advertised to compensate for the slight inconvenience of me being in Ireland.
Any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Agree with the above posts.. - its nearly summer and this car will be very desirable! put it up for 14k. location isnt an issue for a rare car like this. as people will be happy to travel for good example. thumbsup

I know it is priced cheaply but it's to compensate for the hassle of flying over etc although I guarantee no one would be disappointed. I would like a quick sale at 12k feels like a good deal for both parties.if anyone wants to offer more I would be very grateful though lol! Just want the car to go to a good home who will cherish it like I have!

Thing is you may be inadvertanty de-valuing other's cars by listing it so low...

Good luck with the sale thumbsup

I don't want to devalue anyone's car and it used to be me complaining at people putting clean NAs up at 7k. I honestly thought it was a reasonable price and would like a brisk sale. Combined with the fact no one interested has actually been in touch as yet!

Well to cheap and i would raise the price as you are losing out on £1500 to £2000 on it.

I wish! I did sell the suspension separately actually so you could say 12.5k I took a px of a "normal" car as well the logic been it would be easier to shift on. Worked out ok in the end and it's a good way to move stuff at the moment as everyone that expressed an interest in mine had a car to sell.

The mot is annoying as I can't renew it as it's greater than a month away from being due. I need to confirm it's due date when I get home. The location I can't do a massive amount about unfortunately!

You can have your car MOT tested any time you like, its just manditory to have it done every 12 months, BUT if you have 6 months remaining on your MOT and you choose to have it tested to sell with a 12 month 'fresh' MOT and it fails on anything you cannot still use the 'old' 6 months remaining one!

It will need re-testing till it passes before its legit again

It's odd then, because the TT has over 2 months left on MOT, but on the certificate it explicitly states 'The earliest this vehicle can be tested is (this date)'. Which is 1 month before retest date. I know it can be done as I've done it before, I'm just curious of the rules on that one.
