Weird. I'm usually good at stockpiling VX stuff that I'll never use/fit/whatever but there's definitely not one of those hanging around in the room of doom.

So around 2011 somebody spend over 20 to 30k euro on these things, and they just disappeared of the face of the planet.

Wow.

That´s gonna be some barn or attic find at some point.

Bit bored at work so started looking at coupe backs. Is this the same as the Eltech Italia ones that are now being produced? Look very similar and the best by far IMO, especially as the hinge and lock OEM

But Eltech is still working on the louvres and final fitment.

I now have a German one from the 2nd production run, but it needs a bit of tweaking to get a perfect fit on my car. It is a bit deformed when the 2 halves were glued together.

Notice the gap to the rollbar cover, the slats being flat and having bolts in them. Not exactly like the german one.

Eltech copied mine without any permission when i had the car in their shop to get it repainted etc. They also sell it without any permission of me or the german guys.

You can still buy the original german part which in my opinion is the only choice if you want it. If any one is interested in the hood you can contact me and i will set things up.

By the way, the paint job eltech did was the worst i ever saw. They also ruined nearly my whole car (damages up to 8000 euros). I have to refurbish nearly everything except the interior and get another paint job.
