Surely if MVS can make full clams for less than £1000 they can make something like this for less (in GRP rather than CF tho), gotta be worth having a word with them if enough people are interested?
Copying an existing moulding is FAR easier (and less costly in time and materials) than making a plug, moulding, prototyping, remoulding etc.
EDIT: If the moulds were available though.....

Thought about that, but apparently he's stopped making them. So unless someone is keen to lend theirs (of which there sounds to be only a handful in the country) sounds like this isnt an option.

My Ferrari Restorer can make me a perfect 1 piece or multi piece aluminium skin of the coupe fastback including louvres for around £2000 as he owes me some favours. How hard is it to make fibreglass copies, using it as the master? It would be a one off masterpiece, trust me.
If enough people were interested, then it may make sense.
