The TMS car looks far more purposeful yet retains the standard car's sillouette.

It looks like a jelly mould
I was more about this angle
This a topic about an engine cover
not a front splitter
or an apple fritter

Yup James, off that very car.
Its a one off isn't it?
I'm guessing the mould no longer exists anyway
No, I have a spare carbon roof and a fibreglass roof to sell at some point and the moulds are intact and available.

My kit is not for you Neil, it is really for race cars that are looking to reduce drag.
EFA, also I suspect it really need the rear calm cutting to maintain cooling airflow through the engine bay
TBH it needs to be a solution that allows easy access to the boot/engine

Any more pictures from rear cliffie
Looking at that picture its very square cut. Looks like a piece of tooling board cut to shape, louvres added and then another piece stuck on for the scoop. Wouldn't be too hard to copy (almost exactly) if someone had the time.

So would cliffies need more vents in the clam to be more effective ?
Also would directing air into the engine bay via the roof scoop have an effect on cooling
could you re direct the air across the rear diffuser and win the F1 ?
It depends the air flow through the engine bay on the VX enters through the ears and the NACA ducts then exits mainly via the grills on the engine cover. Therefore if you want to maintain this then you need to make sure the vents are big enough. However if you have a roof scoop that's not feeding sealed air box or ducted down to the engine then you could just end up with the air short circuiting and going stirght out the vents and not cooling the engine bay. To get the air flow through from the roof scoop to cool the engine bay you need to remove the boot and cut the rear clam. The only real use the small vents in the calm will be are when the car is stationary to allowing heat to convect out.
Not but you could move the exhaust up and fit a double diffuser
If you saw my 'projects' list you'd think I needed a year off!
Same here possibly 2

not that i can afford either or would actually fit either, i have to say the first red one on page 1 looks nicer then cliffies but thats just IMO
I'd like my car to look like the black one, although it's silver
I'd be interested if we cold have that look
