Love it! Very jealous! Some day in the not too distant future! Did you wrap the plastic on the engine cover yourself? How did it react to the resin? I think I will make a few things myself this weekend and see how they turn out.

Did you wrap the plastic on the engine cover yourself? How did it react to the resin?
I think I will make a few things myself this weekend and see how they turn out.


the two lids (expansion bottle lid and oil lid) both were a pain, and didnt come out great. - on close inspection you can tell it was a DIY job, and not a great one at that.. - but i was happy, as it was my first time using the stuff..

the one thing the instructions didnt add, that i think is a must. a good few coats of lacquer.. thumbsup
