Soph, it is rare for a young lady to frequent this forum and when they do they do tend to get a bit of a time. Don't worry it is nothing personal. There have over time, been a few "fake" posters claiming to be something they are not and that has led to suspicion. Guess the last one to get a time was Anonymous User but then she/he was a wind up so I guess it was deserved in that case.

Why have I only just found this thread?!?! Firstly, hi sophie, got to be asked - why are you getting rid of the RS?!?! I see you said you wanted a two seater but surely the RS is enough excitement? It will take a big spec VX to matcxh that (in a straight line atleast). Also, don't mind me being nosey, but you're 21 and have a new Focus RS?? What are the other cars you're thinking of? Going by the RS, is your budget around £20k? I'd be heading straight for an Exige S. Ignore the troll comments, very rare is it that a girl pops up on here so people struggle to believe it - and also by saying your'e into two seater sports cars (and football!) you've ticked a few dream girl boxes! Good luck with your search - Go check out that Mandarin VXT thats just been put up for sale on here, looks stunning in my opinion.

Hey,

Thanks for the welcome, The RS is great really fun, but i used to have an old 2 seater MGB and loved the whole 2 seater wind in the hair kind of feel, the sort of driving is "special" the RS although good fun and a lot of power isn't really the same, its too everyday!

The others i was thinking are an Elise or slightly left field a Triumph TR3A just such a stunning car! The budgets around 20-25 which is what i think the Triumph would cost to buy, strip, fix and paint, thats not saying i need to spend the whole budget!

I get the troll comments i guess, i guess i haven't told you all about my love for shoes and handbags to negate the love of cars and football!

How's stuff with you?

Sophie It's not just here. My friend Nat is 21 and has a modified rx7. Nobody believed she existed on mrc, and when my friend Neil said he knew her on there, they thought she was him. Take it as a compliment. :) Welcome to the club.

Hi Sophie and welcome,

Here is a great place to pick up advice on anything to do with the VX and people have always seemed very helpful to me. I don’t really know what’s gone on with things in the past as I have only been a member on here since the start of this year but I wouldn’t worry about it.

Anyway with a budget of 20-25k that will get you a hell of a lot of VX!!! I love my VX but if I had 20-25k to spend on a 2 seat sports I would be looking at the Exige S which is an amazing car. I know each to their own etc.

I hope you find the information you need....

I'm ok thanks, I'm a youngster too (with respect to the elders on here). Had my VX for 6 months and I've loved every minute. Although it does feel a little sluggish accelerating in fourth (its only a slightly modified N/A), the speed at which you can casually cruise round corners never gets old.

An MGB too? wow, very jealous of your 2 car history! And thats before I saw your budget. With 20-25k I'd be looking at a noble M12, this exige, or if you want to tick another dream girl box, the only blue vxr220 thats been put up for sale.

...haha of course, no ones perfect.

Hey Soph and nice to have an intelligent and attractive young lady on the forum. Dont panic I'm married. Where are you based? Have you ever been in a VX yet? Would be a good place to start and see what you think. You have a decent budget for the cars you want so take the time to look around. I have had mine since april this year so certainly not he most experienced VXer but I have learnt a lot about the car very quickly. Maybe come to some meets if you can and grab a passenger ride to see what you think! CT

Hi Sophie and welcome just a thought, but i believe that the "one and only" blue VXR is still for sale, (nothing to do with me) http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item2a11d74cf2 I'm not a turbo person myself (never been keen on any type of turbo car  ) but the VXR is much better than the standard ones. In fact i did nearly consider a VXR myself before i came to my senses by slapping myself around the face
