I believe he's busy with house projects at the moment.

As FLD said, I'm really busy building a house at the moment, so it's still sitting there (along with the car!). It will probably be next summer when this starts to move again once my garage is built (just waiting for the planning permission drawings this week).

No worries, if you ever need a hand then drop me a pm. I'm no mechanical whizz but I can make a fine brew :D

Good luck with the garage build.

I am putting the same unit in mine from late September minus a Harrop at present.

Cheers guys. Thanks to the chap I collared in Ipswich yesterday, waving him down at traffic lights while I was driving a TT to come and try and drive up my driveway to see if I had enough ground clearance yesterday, must have thought I was a mentalist! Fortunately it looks like it will be fine :)

haha, brilliant. Glad it looks like it's fine though. Rear clearance of a VX is like a range rover - wheels right in the corners.

Yep it was Ollie, he was the last in the convoy. His car is at standard ride height but I think there was a couple of inches of clearance at the nose which should mean mine is just about ok, even with the splitter. It was certainly better than I thought it might be which was a relief.
