ok, just back from having it fitted. it came off an elise. abs works, did a few emergency stops before paying, hard on throttle straight onto breaks..... no dead pedal, but time will tell as it was an intermittent problem. all looking good at the moment thumbsup they have 3 more units there for .............. wait for it ............. £125 the place is uklotuscentre, Halesowen B62 8HY, Telephone: 0121 561 5454 he wasnt interestd in doing a group buy deal on new units as he very rarely buys anything new, but he did say a lot of lotus dealers are shutting down so they could well be out there somewhere........ i'll post on here if the problem arises again within the near future, but hopefully this has done the trick.. ;)

yes, very easy. i take it your pic was of the lotus abs unit not the vx one? as the lotus one had the same part number, exept the bar code was different.

Dumfunk, does the code on yours and the others for sale say S108196012? Just to summarise, am I correct in saying that for £125 and 10 minutes of my time I can fit 4-channel ABS to my VX220 and won't need to visit a Lotus dealership?

I'm having a go at my local opel forum to see if they know a vectra that has a 4 channel. Is there any visual confirmation from the ecu between a 2 channel and a 4 channel, besides the sticker with the type numbers on them?
