If you want the shape changing any more just let me know. I am bored at work so it helps relieve some, even if only for a few moments.

I really like that and great photo editing skills there. I am really interested if you can build them like that robin. What sort of price would you think they would be if you did make some up?

If your going to make vents like this i think the minimum requirement is to tie them in and line them up with the OEM lines, the top lines needs to be a few cm lower to mate up with the number plate recess :)

good idea though, although not for me. Ive done similar on the front...

but the rear on the vx is almost perfect i think. :)

What's the off-white bit at the outermost edge of the cut outs Joe? Is that GRP?

Theres strengtheing angled section that is fixed up against the rear bodywork, to cut the holes we had to remove that, but the rear is still very solid. Martin s

That's the bit of GRP which the arch liner attaches to.

Theres strengtheing angled section that is fixed up against the rear bodywork, to cut the holes we had to remove that, but the rear is still very solid. Its main purpose seems to be a gravel and mud store, as I reckon nearly half a kilos worth came out when I cut mine out! Martin s

If those rear vents had a lip/recessed edge rather than just a cutout of the clam id love them.

Wondered if it was that but couldn't visualise it going that far back. thumbsup

Same as that. Lost count of how many times I've had to dig rubbish out of there. No bloody wonder the fixings there, disintegrate.

I agree. Having said that, martin has pressed his mesh into shape and I think that makes the world of difference. C'mon martin, piccie :poke:

Would be straight forward to incorporate into the moulding I would of thought, maybe to echo the bevelled edge around the lights.

I preferred flat I will take another picture now they are stuck in as above isn't just a few blobs to hold in place. But I prefer the flat look
