If those rear vents had a lip/recessed edge rather than just a cutout of the clam id love them.

Would be straight forward to incorporate into the moulding I would of thought, maybe to echo the bevelled edge around the lights.

Is this related to your wanted add??!!

I'm quite happy to let someone else do the hard work, especially for a hundred quid ;)
Need a bit more clearance for fat rear wheels/tyres, so fancy having a play subtly widening the arches.......

I prefer cutting these out than I do fitting turbo side vents  The front louvres will be interesting though... I'm building up the courage to do that...

Joes holes look functional, the proposed 2-11 style ones just look they would bleed bay heat, which while that is a good thing you want to be dumping exhaust heat too.... and for the sake of a couple of 6-8" cuts I reckon its worth a tweak of the design.

I have indented mine and have many photoshop designs here for other styles of rear vents and side vents in the car. Just getting the nerve up to do more! I've passed designs and templates on to others so there may be other things turning up. Would post the pics, but cant remember how and cant be bothered to faff around with photobucket etc. Martin s yes Mat, plain lazy!

I have a few samples that will hopefully/maybe posted soon. Been doing a few design things recently for various vx owners and its made me start dabbling with my own car, but am aware I'm an older git and cant get too carried away, as I will never look good in a baseball cap on the wrong way around (or to be honest, the right way around!). Oh God, I actually quite like some of those. :beat: There's still no way I'm hacking bloody great holes in an original undamaged clam though.

I think the 3 straight lines on the front arch. Very "Europa", same as the 3 straight vents on the rear.

Yep, the three vents on the rear work. Not sure about having the vent on the outside of the buttress though, probably better on the inside face. I'd be terrified to take the front clam off with those vents though. Could see it all going pear shaped.

Yep, makes sense. Front clam wobbles around enough as it is, when it's not attached to the car. thumbsup

I've also been talking to Martin about these and made a couple more but think the design he and Joe has look better. My photo editing skills suck but you get the idea.
