Like Muncher, I opened up my main silencer and all of the packing (I spec'd the, at the time, upgraded stuffing) and it all seemed fine in there.
I really didn't expect much of anything from the silencer when I saw it but it's been surprisingly effective at dropping the noise to more manageable levels. Still not friendly enough for all tracks on drive-by's when the engine is under load but seems to breeze through static tests fine.

I may be asking Chris for a silencer to fit in place of the cat as I think with my new engine it could be too loud.
I got the extra silencer but I can't say its really that quiet

Pretty sure it is, has a load of hex bolts all the way around which I assume are to open it up!
Yes the Tullet is repackable. Mine is fairly loud but I've not found it that much of an issue as far as hearing comfort goes. I do worry about it on track though. I have booked Goodwood for end of August so we shall see.

Whats your results at courtney if you dont mind me asking and have you a picture of your graph. Did you make the 300bhp mark.
Alas not

I don't have the graphs to hand but they are the smoothest curves I've seen yet!
Either way comparing mine and chris_uk's results seems a clear indicator that 3" makes very little difference up to 300bhp, which is slightly annoying as with a 2.5" I probably wouldn't be having noise issues!

They use Acoustafil anyway. At one point there was an option to upgrade to a higher grade of Acoustafil but I think they started using that as standard based on feedback.Try stuffing it with acoustafil.

Just flog your Tullet to me, job sorted. You could even have my Milltek 2.5.
Hasn't quite come to that yet!
I've been thinking, theres got to be room for something a little bigger than the one techie has pictured. For starters if I ditch the second lambda then it can be a bit longer, secondly I think there might be room for a much larger diameter oval shaped silencer. I might take it to a custom exhaust place and see what they can do.

Would love a removable db killer construction, was we don't have many different tracks here, and zolder is an extreem firm 95db one, with 2 measuring points on the track

As for acousta fill:

I'd love to do Zolder and Zandvoort but it's just not worth me wasting the time driving there, knowing full well I'll get kicked off. Just like Goodwood here.zolder is an extreem firm 95db one, with 2 measuring points on the track
