The second hand market Is shocking!!

Is it?

Crappy old Vauxhall sport car, no heritage, no kudos, no racing history, would rather be forgotten by its manufacturer.

Still think they should be valuable?

You don't buy a VX220 as an investment (though they are doing far far better than i ever thought they would)

anyway.... just wanted to re-iterate that the car is the standard calypso red and NOT orange as my photos may have you believe. mileage now up to 8020! will accept offers close to £18000.

It won't hinder your sale.

There are just about enough of us that think that they are one of the best vehicles ever made.

You've got one of the best VXR220s for sale. Hold out for a buyer a the price you want as there will be someone prepared to pay your asking price. Its just that for the reasons i listed above, they are slightly rarer and you may have to wait a little.

ok, I really need to get rid of the vxr so... having seen the one on pistonheads that is pretty much the same as mine and has just sold, I am now reducing the asking price to £15,900. that really has to be an incredible bargain - and that price will NOT be going any lower!

I should also add that the car has just been serviced at a Vauxhall main dealer and has 11 months tax and mot on it. Can't believe the amount of timewasters on here (and elsewhere) - people who get in touch, make tentative offers and are promptly never heard from again. If I don't get a serious buyer by the end of this week then it's going to a dealer (cos the Evora is on it's way!) and then you'll be looking at a whole lot more to pay for it! Come on chaps, it's a bargain - just have some fun in it til next april/may then sell it on when the market's better and make 2 or 3 grand! Or better still, keep it.....
