ROLLS ROYCE MERLIN V12 500/29 - 1620 HP - 27 LITRE

and the car that swallowed that motor!

The engine came from a Boulton PaulBalliol training aircraft which would give 1,262 hp (941 kW) at 8,500 feet (2,600 m). Nosupercharger was fitted to the engine in car so it "only" delivered about 850 hp (630 kW). The car used a General MotorsTH400automatic transmission. The Beast is alive and well inMarbella,Spain and is still owned by Dodd. It is still taxed in the UK; aDVLA search shows the engine capacity as 27000cc.

It's got a cage in it so it could be a GpN rally car. It's being towed so it could have had an excursion already and bent the rack so that on the first left turn, it gets stuck. It happened to me on an event once - I had rolled it into a ditch, pushed it back onto 4 wheels, drove off not knowing that the rack had shifted allowing right lock but not left. The next corner was a right so chucked it in, gave is some right foot, the back steps out, go to counter steer to find it wouldn't go beyond straight ahead so span it. We did manage to get it out of the stage and all the way back to service by just turning right!

Bit clichéd these days as we see this type of 'dancing' all the time but I've never seen anyone on Britain's Got The X-factor do some of the stuff this guy does. Skip to 4:12 for some WTF physics if you're getting bored. Yes it's 01:13 on a Saturday morning and I haven't even had any alcohol but I ended up on that weird part of youtube again.

Thanks. That was amazing. Some people are just so talented. It's actually more effective with the sound off.

That one has been in my favourites list for some time. I liked the music aswell as the dancing and think you need it playing to appreciate that what he is doing is in time with / influenced by what's being played.

There are a few more of him on the Great Wall of China etc.

Yeah I agree actually, even if you're not a fan of the music it definitely enhances the dancing because he moves perfectly in time with it when it glitches etc
