Hi All, some of you may know me from ebay (barrygray), I sell bolt kits. Just letting you know that I've put a quick release quarter turn kit together for the VX. It replaces all the small m5 bolts and clips (the 4 m8 bolts remain). It saves a lot of time and hassle, the undertray and diffuser can be removed in under 5 mins. PM me or visit ebay (item number 130564894514 or seller barrygray). This project's in it's infancy at the mo (only tested on an Elise), but the fasteners have held tight for two months now, so confident they're not going to fall out at 120mph! I need to know how popular you guys think they'll be and give me some feedback before I order a shed load of them.

Already use these on my difusser and rear part of the tray and they work well. I use the D-ring fastners BTW.
Will do the rest of the undertray when I can be rsd.

do they push in and need turning to release?
I've seen some fasteners like that that you simply push in to fit and then undo however you want to remove.... I reckon they would be more popular

I've got 2 types, both made by Dzus; one is the Lion quarter turn and the other (arriving soon) is the black D8 range with the ring (motorbike fairing fasteners). They don't push in and turn, just turn using a screwdriver for the Lion fasteners or manually for the D8's. I have all the clips and retaining washers, and I'm selling them on ebay now (item 130574590343). I've decided to set up a shop and have a dedicated VX220 section. What I really need is someone local to me to drop by so I can test I've got the sizes right. They fit an Elise, just need to double check they fit VX ok and maybe take a pic or two.
I'm offering a free kit to anyone who can spare me some time (who lives near Buntingford on A10) to allow me to test my kit and take a pic of the finished product. I'll come to you if it's easier...
Anyone else who thinks they might be interested in a kit can drop me an email b.gray4@sky.com or PM me and I'll sort you out a kit for £40 (£5 off the ebay price).
By the way my shop on ebay is Speedy Fasteners, not barrygray anymore...
Cheers,
Barry

I've just got a set of these. I'm looking to fit them at the weekend so thought I'd ask if anyone wants any specific pics or wants to know anything specific? This way I can take pics and make appropriate notes as I go. Looking at them they look pi$$ easy to fit, only a retard like me could mess it up!
