Had a search but can only find black and anthracite wheels of this type. Do they do silver? does anyone have a pic of them on a VX...?

Silver just makes those Speedlinealikes look even fatter and heavier than they do in black. And they already look properly lardy in black.

And the spoke to rim offset isn't the same front to back. a bit larger at the back would have been ok, but its the other way round. Anyway, not really fan either, but they are still lighter than the lovely speedlines.

That picture is the old style wheel. The new version 2 has round edge spokes that look like the original wheel. The offsets are also different on the new style.

Firstly, thanks that is ac very good set of pictures. I guess i liked cars from teh 80's and those alloys are also simiar to the original NA ones (which i like). (Ferrari 308 being one of my favourites) Am i to infere then that fitting these wheels to the VX is a bit like fitting 17's all round on a lotus 16/17 chassis... That just leaves TS's then...

2x Front 7x16" ET25, 5x110 pcd, 65.1mm centre bore (Speedline Corse Type 2110 SL1430) 2x Rear 8x17" ET33, 5x110 pcd, 65.1mm centre bore (Speedline Corse Type 2110 SL1445) Just posting the above for reference... in case anyone wanted the original VXR wheel sizes on which the Speedlinealikes are based.... Does anyone have any V1 vs V2 pics then? As JL37 describes, would be interesting to see the differences.

Here is one, not sure of the offset on this particular one as it's from their website, but mine look pretty similar. Easily the best looking wheel on the VX i reckon!. I have 17 inch wheels all round. The handling is brilliant and i do a lot of track driving.

I must be weird then...because i think the silver wheels look good  Are they terrible for the handling? Are they heavier than the original NA spoke wheels?

Nope they were marginally lighter, and much lighter than proper speedlines.

Do you know if they have enough clearance for the 4-pot brake upgrade?

And can you confirm the part number on compmotives website...is it M0177?

Hmm, I was toying with some of these in silver as they seem to be the closest looking to the standard n/a wheels which I quite like, but having seen them in these pictures now I'm not so sure :beat: Maybe TDs are the way forward after all.

I was just having a read of that as well but I'm not 100% sold on them to be honest. I'll have to have a think and see if they grow on me a bit

Correct, the ultra rare (infact rarest) magnesium speedlines, one of 6 sets.
