Had to get mine re-programmed to the fobs. Sent it off to Abacus Alarms and they made me 2 new fobs up.

Seb with hindsight do you think that was the only solution?

I just tried to reset it with the key in the ignition, turned to position two, holding the remote button down for 10/30 seconds and nothing happens. As soon as you put the turn the key in the ignition it sets the alarm off. As soon as you disconnect the battery it sets the alarm off. The remote doesn't want to do anything at all. :beat: :beat: :beat:

Yep, pressed the fob 16 times until it stopped responding, then pressed the naff one, then pressed the good one, waited 8 seconds and it was fine. So glad I didn'r rip out the alarm and send it off for recoding!

I think you need at least one working fob to do what I did. Have you checked the voltages in your fob batteries?

Or that the batteries are still seated properly? They can easily dislodge themselves if the fob is dropped - had it happen a number of times with mine.
