Hi some of you know me already and some of you won't. Youcan see the noob section for my introduction if feel the urge. Anyway down tobusiness, I'm going to try document my Work in Progress on my newly acquiredVX. She needs a bit of work to get her back on the road as has been standingfor 6 months in the elements.

Day 1 - Project Flying Saucer Commences - (The Collection)

Posted Image

Took a few extra planks to get her on the trailer!

Posted Image

Loaded and ready for the trip back to Hangar 18 err... I mean the garage!

Posted Image

Here all all unloaded and ready for the work to start. I get the feeling there will be lots of sheered of bolts swearing buises and cuts..

Posted Image

And a few of the job ahead of me.. I think it's going to be a steep learing curve but I'm ready for it especially with Cliffe 2 garages away :D after it's all his fault I've got a VX now oh and maybe a PAX ride or two at Le Mans

She was a bit damp so wheeled her into the garage to let her dry out for a day for so. (Smells a bit modly!)

Looks like it mostly needs a damn good clean! Slindy is a filthy beast....and a complete pikey although its dirty he did maintain it mechanically so things shouldn't be too bad.

All stuff I can do so no problems there. It's of for a re-spray in a week or so.. I'm open to colour scheme suggestions.. It's keeping the Red roof and will have red seats to match.

Nope, because I used the car as she should have been and the bodywork was evil and made by spastics.

Dash trim sanded and ready for coat of paint

Dash panels painted just to see what the looked like in black. (Will need flatting back and clear coat on and polish to finish off, although I may even go down the 3M Carbon Vinyl route yet.

While I am on the subject what's the best type of velcro to buy to fix these little buggers on with? I want a nice neat job!
